Necessity the mother of invention. Indeed, the work of Radio Kwizera (RK) for the past thirteen years was necessitated by the need to serve refugees who had fled the infamous Rwandan genocide in 1994, when, in about 100 days 800,000 − one million people were killed.
Voices from the affected: Women and youth are crucial for any structural change and development to take place. While children are the future of any society. RK involves them in the execution of programs, opposing any discriminatory attitude and expression against anybody.
